Parking place #204 is reserved for you. A key safe is installed on the wall of the carport. You can open the key safe with a code. If I cannot check you in personally, you will receive the code by email or messenger one day before your arrival.
It is a central key, which opens all doors (the main entrance door of the house, the door of the apartment and the door of the ski room). There are two keys in the key safe.
Your apartment > Top 204 < is on the lowest level. From the entrance door, please go down the stairs or take the elevator to level -1.
WiFi & Codes
In the hall to the left of the intercom, on an information board, you will find the access data for the WLAN and the code for the key safe . The code for the ski box is the same as that for the key safe.
Garbage | Apartment
In the cupboard under the sink there is a container for plastic and metal waste and one for paper. You will also find tabs for the dishwasher in this cupboard. In the kitchen corner on the right there is a large container for residual waste and a small container for organic waste.
Garbage | House
The garbage containers of the house are located to the right of the carport. There is no container for glass waste there. Please dispose of these in the municipal containers approx. 300 meters away (on the left in front of Hotel Seebackerhof > see Google Maps for location HERE) or leave them in the apartment.
If you want to receive German programs, please proceed as follows: Switch on the television with the black remote control. Then go to Settings > Source and select HDMI. Then switch on the white A1 box (see green diode) and make the other settings with the white remote control.
There is a private, lockable ski cabinet for 4 pairs of skis, boots and helmets. This is located on the entrance level just after the elevator on the right in the general storage room > Allgemeiner Abstellraum (in German). There you will find ski locker #204 in the far left corner. Please enter the four-digit code and then turn the lock 90 degrees to the right to open it. To lock, simply turn the lock back to its original position, and the lock locks automatically shortly thereafter.
Windows & Patio Doors
Please close all windows and patio doors every time you leave the apartment, as rain fronts often arrive quickly and unexpectedly.
Unless otherwise agreed, please check out by 10:00 a.m. Please close all windows and patio doors, lock the apartment door and finally deposit both keys in the key safe.

My name is Klaus Trummer. I run the two apartments Alpenblick (Top 204) and Grimminggarten (Top 202) in this house. I love the beautiful landscape of the Ausseerland and have been spending a lot of time here for almost 20 years – with activities such as hiking, cycling, swimming, sailing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Two years ago I slipped into the role of host here in Tauplitz. I try to offer my guests a nice and cosy homebase for their holiday in the Ausseerland.
Arrival by public transport
Tauplitz train station is only about 950 metres from the Grimminggarten flat. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station to the flat. Alternatively, you can also book a taxi in advance: Almtaxi, TelNr. +43 (0)664 888 666 88.
The Tauplitz/Dorfsaal bus station on line 950 is about 3 minutes’ walk from the flat. The bus serves the route Bad Aussee – Bad Mitterndorf – Tauplitz – Stainach.
Arrival by car
Take the Salzkammergut Bundesstraße B145 to the Tauplitz turn-off. After the town sign – approximately at the end of the incline – turn left into the access road about 50 metres before the volunteer fire brigade. Then please drive into the cul-de-sac and stay on it until you reach house 357. There you will find a covered carport reserved for you, which you can recognise by the designation Top 204 (see video below).
