My great fascination for the Ausseerland began almost 20 years ago. Year after year, I spent more and more time in this unique region – in summer and winter. A deep bond developed with the Styrian Salzkammergut, which has since become my new home.
I hope that I, as the designer and operator of the Grimminggarten flat, can make a good contribution to you being able to spend a beautiful and relaxing holiday here. Your satisfaction is a great concern to me. As I am usually not far from Tauplitz, I can react very quickly to guests’ wishes at short notice.
Since I have already been offering and renting out a holiday flat in Graz via Airbnb since 2015, I have some experience that should also benefit the guests of this new flat. Speaking of which: If you prefer the security of a renowned booking portal, you can also book the flat Grimminggarten HERE via Airbnb. However, the prices are a little higher, as agency commissions are added. My ambition is to be a “direct marketer” with good personal contact and a trusting relationship with my guests.

Take the Salzkammergut Bundesstraße B145 to the Tauplitz turn-off. After the town sign – approximately at the end of the incline – turn left into the access road about 50 metres before the volunteer fire brigade. Then please drive into the cul-de-sac and stay on it until you reach house 357. There you will find a covered carport reserved for you, which you can recognise by the designation “Appartement Grimminggarten | Top 202”.
With public transport
Tauplitz train station is only about 950 metres from the Grimminggarten flat. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station to the flat. Alternatively, you can also book a taxi in advance: Almtaxi, TelNr. +43 (0)664 888 666 88.
The Tauplitz/Dorfsaal bus station on line 950 is about 3 minutes’ walk from the flat. The bus serves the route Bad Aussee – Bad Mitterndorf – Tauplitz – Stainach.
